Merle, wire-haired dachshund, 2 years

Family Sauerbrey from Zella-Mehlis, Thuringia wrote on Mai 20th, 2020...

After a car accident in February with the diagnosis of „only“ a broken ischium, a CT scan in Berlin in March revealed that Merle’s pelvis had in fact been broken 3 times. She was actually „only“ supposed to receive GI for her hips. Shorty after the GI and the administration of homeopathic pain medication as well as physiotherapy, Merle’s gait had greatly improved and was more stable. She no longer shuffled or stumbled, and her desire to move increased significantly. After she had been in a relieving posture for almost 12 weeks, Mr. Rosin found Merle to be „fully recovered“ again on April 21st, 2020 during our follow-up exam. Now nothing can stand in the way of her dachshund and hunting dog career.

We felt very well taken care of and comfortable in the practice. It was very pleasant that we were included in the treatment and in the conversations.

12 years ago – a life with gold

Ms. Angie Bräunig wrote on April 26th, 2020...

Despite careful selection and an almost two-year search for the „right“ labrador retriever from an old englisch working line with great health, my little Brit „Magic“ turned out to have major issues. The x-rays, taken exactly on his first birthday, were clear: Even my own veterinarian said during the x-ray: „oh dear, that doesn’t look good.“ There were even signs of arthrosis!

I had heard about Mr. Rosin earlier. The dog of a friend was successfully treated with gold acupunture for its ellbow. Thankfully we lived close to Dr. Heinzelmann’s Swabian cooperation practice. Even before I recieved the evaluation with severe hip dysplasia from the appraiser, I had called and asked when Mr. Rosin would be able to see me for a consultation. I was very lucky: „yes, he will be here in two weeks and we still have an appointment available!“

In the meantime I had asked around not only in the retriever world and read up on the topic. Experienced breeders had recommended a total endoprothesis or at least a denervation. I was shocked! Many said the dog would otherwise not get old or need pain medication from an early age and never be able to have an active life.

I was very concerned when I drove to the appointment and was anxious about what I would learn. Peter Rosin made a lot of time for us. We stood together in the courtyard to evaluate the gait. With Mr. Rosin’s help, I was able to see the restrictions in my dog’s movement. The trigger point analysis confirmed his first assessment. Whew, that was tough!

Then we sat together on the bench in the hallway and Mr. Rosin very neutrally explained the different treatment options to me, including their advantages and disadvantages. The longer we „chatted“, the clearer it was for me that the gold acupuncture was the most sensible solution. We were very lucky: Magic was able to receive his gold acupuncture on the same day! Of course I was able to stay with him during the procedure while everything was explained to me in detail. I was even asked to check Mr. Rosin’s puls, while he looked for the correct points and inserted the gold!

A few hours later I was able to take my gilded labrador home. In the following weeks we were only supposed to take him out at a walking pace, in order to support the reorganisation of the previously incorrectly strained muscles. We went swimming almost daily, which he loved. Dr. Heinzelmann was very happy with us at the follow-up exam.

From then on, Magic lived a normal and very active retriever life. He was trained normally, passed his first dummy exam and participated actively in working tests. He accompanied the family on long hikes and came with me on many long horseback rides far into his eleventh year. He will be turning 13 this year – and who would have thought – he needed pain medication for the first time in his life only a few weeks ago. Otherwise he is living a completely carefree life as a retiree, wanders around our large yard on his own and still loves to go on walks with us.

I am very happy that I listened to my gut and had him treated with gold acupuncture as early as possible, even though we did not see any symptoms back then. Knowing what I do today, I would always make the same decision again!

Balu, 5 years

Woohooo, the doctor was very pleased. He said that while he may have to conduct a small operation on my shoulder in the future, my gait analysis is super.

I have built up muscles due to the gold acupuncture and I am pain free. In addition, the Cauda Equina compression syndrome has receded. It is not possible to repair the disc, but I am pain free and that was the main goal.

I am happy just like a lab should be.

Thank you and paw high-five, that you thought of me.

Dr. Rosin ist absolutely recommendable! He treated my dog spendidly and completely calmed me down with his quiet manner before the procedure (gold acupuncture).

The progress we have made since the treatment two months ago is remarkable and I am very thankful!

Thank you very much from Augsburg from me and Hans-Peter

Marley, 9 months

Super, highly recommendable!!! My younger dog Marley has a severe form of HD and was very restricted and suffered from pain. Today she received her gold acupuncture.

The entire practice team was so incredibly sweet, competent and caring, I have never experienced such a calm and relaxed atmosphere in any practice. Dr. Rosin seemed like a magician, if I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes, I wouldn’t have believed it.

I am absolutely convinced by this treatment method, and am looking forward to a pain free and unburdened time with Marley.

I thank all the wonderful ladies and Dr. Rosin with all my heart.

Tyson, 2 years

Ms. Pfeifer wrote on September 24th, 2019...

After a not properly conducted osteotomy of the pelvis and mayny failed trips to different doctors, we turned to Dr. Rosin for help.

In all honesty, I was very sceptical towards the gold acupuncture… Tyson has HD, and the front leg was operated on as he suffers from ellbow dysplasia. Unfortunately, a severe form of arthrosis developed within a short period of time. Therefore we entrusted our dog to Dr. Rosin.

The gold was implanted and his ellbows were treated with platelet rich plasma. I was told that it would take a while for the effect to become apparent… I am not very patient and unfortunately I had lost my trust in veterinarians… Tyson is now fitter than many healthy dogs.

He frolics, jumps around and is even a bit rebellious, because he is doing very, very well thanks to the gold. Looking back and based on my experience today, I would always prefer the GI. We felt as though we were in very good hands in Dr. Wilms‘ practice because of Dr. Rosin’s care and can recommend this practice with a good conscience.

A huge thank you to the team, keep it up.

A huge thank you from Basel… the „Rosinchen“ gave our 10 year old pug a pain free life and we are so thankful. Cirius goes to obedience school with friends and he even does light agility with vigor (no high jumps).

Frieda, 11 years

Ms. Stelzer wrote on May 17th, 2019...

My Frieda was 1 ½ years old when she came to your practice for a gait analysis. She could barely walk and was considered incurable by our local veterinarian. She will be having her 11th birthday in October and still jumps over our fence… she is still doing super!

Thanks to the practice Rosin!

Always very friendly and competent.

Dr. Reipert takes enough time for the „patient“ and the entire team works calmly and without stress, which is great for the pet as well as the owner. Obviously everyone also has a lot of fun.

We only go to this veterinary practice anymore.
